Netflix’s reality show Love Is Blind season 2 is just days away from its premiere and fans are eager to learn all they can about the new cast members, including Kara Williams. The 32-year old client service manager announced her inclusion in this upcoming installment of the love experiment via Instagram last week. In her post, she let her 32,00o+ followers know that she was excited about them watching to see if she finds love this season.

After season one of Netflix’s first breakout reality series got remarkably high ratings, fans were left wondering what would be in store for its follow-up season. People first fell in love with the show after its Valentine’s Day premiere in 2020. Love Is Blind: After the Altar, a season 1 reunion special that aired on Netflix this past summer, further fueled fan anticipation for season two. Now, the wait is over and audiences are anxious to see who will make it to the altar. Will one of the stars who marries be Kara Williams?

Like the rest of the season 2 cast, Kara resides in Chicago. She is originally from Springfield, Missouri. Although she calls The Windy City home now, the new Love Is Blind cast member seems to have an affinity for warmer climates. Her Instagram features pictures of her travels to Nashville, Miami, and Palm Springs. The blonde beauty even lived in the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Thomas for a while.

Kara is an avid animal lover.  She is the proud dog mom of a Shih Tzu, for whom she manages a separate Instagram account. The pooch’s name is @McSniffer. She also advocates for several animal rescues, including one that’s located in St. Thomas. That shelter’s mission, according to their Lucky Paws Foundation website, is to build “a no-kill island one stray at a time.“

Don’t expect the eligible Love Is Blind bachelorette to be uncomfortable with being thrust into the spotlight. This won’t be Kara’s first time in front of an audience. The Midwesterner-turned-islander is a former pageant contestant. She was crowned Miss Earth U.S. Virgin Islands in 2011. She went on to compete for the Miss Earth title that same year but did not place.

Kara Williams is excited for fans to see her journey on this new season of Love Is Blind. Audiences are looking forward to meeting her and finding out who the lucky man she’ll be paired with will be. They can’t wait for him to learn what they already know, which is the fact that there is a lot to love about Kara Williams.
