Hulk Hogan’s Son Was in a Devastating Car Accident Back in 2007

In 2007, a devastating car crash occurred in Clearwater involving Nick Hogan, also known as Nicholas Bollea. Tragically, this incident resulted in severe brain injury to Hogan’s friend, John Graziano. Graziano, an active-duty Marine at the time, was riding as a passenger in Nick Hogan’s car. The car veered off the road and collided with a tree in Clearwater while engaged in a high-speed race against a friend.

Hogan, then 17, served eight months in Pinellas County Jail after entering a no-contest plea for a charge of reckless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.

Authorities claimed that alcohol played a role, going so far as to accuse Hulk Hogan of providing the liquor to his underage son. Nick, in addition, received a five-year probationary sentence and was required to complete 500 hours of community service. His driving privileges were also suspended for a period of three years.

As a result of good behavior, Nick was granted early release from prison after approximately six months. The Graziano family pursued legal action against the Hogans for the incident that resulted in John requiring round-the-clock care for the remainder of his life. Before the crash in 2007, Nick had a notable history of receiving multiple speeding tickets in Florida.

Nick Starred in a Reality Show Alongside His Father

Hogan has two children, Nick and Brooke, aged 35, with his ex-wife Linda. Linda and Hogan were married from 1983 until their divorce in 2009.

The family was the subject of a reality TV show called Hogan Knows Best from 2005 to 2007. The show focuses on the Hogans’ parenting journey and Hulk Hogan’s support for his children’s careers. The title is a playful reference to the 1950s TV series, Father Knows Best. After Hogan Knows Best was canceled in 2007, a spin-off called Brooke Knows Best premiered in 2008 and ran for two seasons.
