Last year, Billie Lourd took her fans by surprise when she revealed that she’d secretly welcomed a baby! That being said, turns out the star had wanted to become a mom for the longest time!
At the time, she told her followers about the new addition to the family only after welcoming her son, named Kingston.
But now, the actress is opening up about the pregnancy, her relationship with fiancé Austen Rydell and more!
While chatting with SiriusXM’s Bruce Bozzi for Quarantined With Bruce, Billie mentioned that her baby boy is ‘not technically a quarantine baby’ since she conceived him before the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world.
Furthermore, Lourd explained why becoming a mom at this time was actually a blessing in disguise.
‘Kingston was conceived before quarantine. So he is technically just a Caribbean baby. I did not know it was happening but it turned out to be sort of a blessing in disguise having a quarantine baby. But he is not a quarantine baby, because I got to keep it to myself. And only my family knew.’
She went on to dish on why her pregnancy was such a great experience: ‘Everyone was so surprised when we posted that picture of his feet, and it got to be something I shared with only the people I loved the most, which was so incredible and made my pregnancy magical and wonderful, which I did not expect it was going to be. I got to eat great food, hang out with all the people I love. I took a hypno-birthing class and I loved being pregnant.’

Billie also told during the interview that the quarantine has definitely strengthened her relationship with her fiance as well.
She mentioned that the time they got to spend together in lockdown was no less than ‘incredible.’
